Per Diem

Performs a variety of duties in the Ambulatory Surgery Center, as a member of the surgical team.  Scrubs on all types of cases performed at the Center, including orthopedic, pain and local cases.  Assists in preparation for cases by picking instruments and set-up and maintenance of sterile field.  May also function as surgeon’s second assistant.  Assist OR team in all aspects of room turnover.  Pick soft goods and instrumentation to facilitate preparation for following days’ surgery.

The sales associate will support the manager in assuring the smooth operation of the Gift Shop.  They will be responsible for providing a service-oriented atmosphere, maintaining cleanliness and order and filling in staples (candy, soda, flowers, greeting cards, sundries, balloons, helium).  Also responsible for candy orders and assuring that balloons are in stock as needed.

Performs administrative duties supportive for the practice including patient care and medical records management.  Assists with updating and maintaining patient records with all pertinent patient information.  Responsible for scanning medical records documentation within the electronic medical records system. Assists with handling attorney, insurance and patient requests for medical record copies.  Must maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with all HIPAA guidelines.  Covers the front desk when backup is needed.
