Philosophy: Treating patients with thoracic surgical diseases poses enormous challenges. I believe it is imperative to approach these challenges by not only treating the disease but to care for both the physical and emotional needs of the patient and their families by integrating the highest quality of surgical care.
Perfect Day-Off: The perfect day-off would
start by watching the sun rise over the Hudson
River, followed by breakfast at a coffee shop in
Nyack. Then I would go golfing with my kids
and end the day in Manhattan with my wife.
About Teaching: I love to teach. Taking the
time to mentor and nurture medical students
and surgical residents is my way of giving back
to the medical community.
Favorite Movie: Our family has an annual
tradition of watching It’s a Wonderful Life together.
