Tina Duffy, RN, Emergency Room, receives Rockland County Nursing Excellence Award. This announcement was made at the Rockland County Nurse Recognition celebration recently held at the Rockland Psychiatric Center.
Tina Duffy, RN, Emergency Room named Nyack Hospital 2007 Nurse of the Year. Tina was recognized by her peers at Nyack Hospital at a luncheon held during Nurse Recognition Week.
Tina Duffy has been a nurse for over 30 years. She has worked in Critical Care, and has been a nursing supervisor as well as a nurse manager. Most recently, Tina has worked at Nyack Hospital for 5 years in the Emergency Department as a staff nurse.
Recently, she assumed the Assistant Nurse Manager position in the Emergency Department on an intermittent basis. Tina is a preceptor for the Emergency Department as well as a PALS, ACLS, and BLS instructor.
Bunny Silver, RN, 3 Maze was awarded the "Excellence in Practice" award at the Rockland County Nurse Recognition celebration recently held at the Rockland Psychiatric Center. Bunny has been a Registered Nurse at Nyack Hospital for 25 years and is an invaluable employee to Nyack Hospital. As a preceptor to new employees, Bunny works as a mentor, charge nurse and role model for her colleagues. She demonstrates superior customer service skills to her patients, their families and the interdisciplinary team. The nursing staff on 3 Maze is extremely proud of Bunny for this well deserved recognition.
