The Appearance Center at Nyack Hospital offers a wide variety of specialized products designed to enhance the way you look during cancer treatment and recuperation. All customers receive complete, individualized assistance from our specially trained, caring staff to help manage the physical changes resulting from cancer therapy. The staff includes Certified Surgical Fitters, Certified Lympedema Fitters, and Liaison with the American Cancer Society.
The Boutique’s offerings include:
Breast prostheses
Bras, camisoles, swimsuits and other specialized apparel for women who have had a mastectomy or lumpectomy or are undergoing radiation treatment.
Hair alternatives including a wide selection of hats, wigs, head-wraps and turbans
Non-metallic deodorants
Gifts and accessories
Lymphedema sleeves, gloves and gauntlets
