Susan G. Komen Community Breast Health Grant Awarded to Nyack Hospital

Nyack Hospital received the Susan G. Komen for the Cure 2013 Community Breast Health grant to fund the Screening Coordination Program for the third consecutive year. The cumulative three-year grants total almost $271,000. Our awarded program offers a full range of early breast cancer detection services from screening mammography, high risk assessment and patient navigation services for uninsured and underinsured women.

This generous grant is aiding our goal of reducing the glaring disparities in breast cancer’s impact, morbidity and mortality, among the area’s traditionally underserved women. [click for more]
