Allow me to introduce myself. I am Deacon Jim Gorman, NACC, proud to be your Director of Pastoral Care and Education. The Pastoral Care Department at Nyack Hospital is a multi-faith department dedicated to meeting the religious, spiritual and emotional needs of our patients, families and staff. You might say we are “the softer side of healthcare”.
Pastoral Care services are provided by myself and a team of volunteer area clergy, seminarians, Eucharistic Ministers and Pastoral Care church and synagogue laity. We are an on-going community resource for education in the area of spirituality and health. Nyack Hospital is a full service healthcare provider and our #1 goal is “Customer Satisfaction.” Please consider us as your community neighbor and call us should the need arise.
