New York State Auxilians Honored with Healthcare Association of New York State Distinguished Service Award

To recognize the contributions made by Auxiliaries throughout New York, the Healthcare Association of New York State has presented all hospital Auxiliaries with its annual Distinguished Service Award. 

At Nyack Hospital, Auxiliary members contribute tirelessly through volunteerism, fundraising and community outreach activities.  They manage the “New to You” Thrift Shop located in the Franklin Antiques Mall in downtown Nyack and the Hospital’s Gift Shop, hold fundraising events throughout the year such as Holiday House and the Mother’s Day Plant Sale, play a vital role in community outreach efforts such as Rockland County’s Annual YouthFest, and offer active people of all ages an opportunity to help serve the Hospital community.
