Dr. Simon is the Director of the Joint Replacement Center at Nyack Hospital. He has been an attending physician in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the medical staff since 2001. Dr. Simon graduated with his BS in Biomechanical Engineering from Cornell University. He graduated from New York University School of Medicine, where his academic achievement was recognized by the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Simon completed his Orthopedic Residency at the Hospital For Joint Diseases, where he received the Senior Research Award. He completed a Fellowship in Orthopedic Research at Hospital For Joint Diseases, and a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Lake Tahoe Orthopedic Institute.
Dr. Simon is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, as well as board certified in Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Simon is a partner at Orangetown Orthopedics Associates, LLC. He routinely performs primary total joint replacement procedures, including hips, knees and shoulders. He is certified in the Oxford Uni-Compartmental partial knee replacement and uses state of the art technology in the care and treatment of his patients. He uses digital technology to pre-plan his joint replacements to ensure optimal outcomes.
Dr. Simon currently serves as the President of the Rockland County Medical Society and on various clinical committees at Nyack Hospital.
