Meet our Staff - Breast Surgical Oncologists at Nyack Hospital
Patricia K. Joseph, MD, FACS
Dr. Joseph is a dedicated breast surgeon with a special interest in community outreach and education. She has received The Commission on Cancer’s (CoC) Cancer Liaison Physician Outstanding Performance Award has served on the American Cancer Society’s Board of Advisors – Northern New Jersey Region.
Dr. Joseph obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Chicago and graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed her surgical internship at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, and her surgical residency at Einstein-Montefiore Medical Centers.
After her residency, Dr. Joseph was an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Albert Einstein and maintained a private practice in New Jersey prior to her appointment as Medical Director of Breast and Women’s Heath Prevention Services at Nyack Hospital in 2009.
Lawrence Simon, MD, FACS
Dr. Simon is Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Simon received his medical degree from Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse. He completed his internship and residency at St. Luke's Hospital, NYC, and was a Major in the United States Air Force. He currently serves as the Director of the Department of Surgery at Nyack Hospital and is the Medical Director of the Wound Care Center at Nyack Hospital.
Paramjeet Singh, MD
Dr. Singh is a respected board certified surgical oncologist who has been recognized by the 2nd World Congress Federation of Surgical Oncology Societies for his research and paper regarding prediction of axillary lymph node status in breast cancer using sentinel lymph node biopsy.
Dr. Singh is a graduate of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where he received his medical degree and post graduate training. He completed his internship and general surgery residency at New York Medical College/Montefiore North, followed by a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Mount Sinai with additional training in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic surgery.
Dr. Singh belongs to the Society of Surgical Oncology, the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons,Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Indian Medical Council, and the American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association.
Adrienne Fueg, MD, FACS
Adrienne Fueg, MD, FACS: Dr. Fueg, is a board certified surgeon who practices general surgery as well as breast and wound surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Association of Women Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
Dr. Fueg received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn. She completed her residency in general surgery at Lincoln Hospital/Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in the Bronx, followed by a fellowship in critical care at Lincoln Hospital.
After seven years of private practice in Rockland County, Dr. Fueg worked at Elk Regional Medical Center in St. Marys, Pennsylvania for five years, before returning to Rockland County in October 2012. She currently is an attending physician at Nyack Hospital and is a surgeon at Highland Surgical Associates in West Nyack.
